100 Sporks

As a finalist for the Light My Fire Adventurer of the Year award, I was given a huge range of LMF products ranging from the fire steels which I've used for years to the titanium sporks which we'll take on our cycle around the world later this year.

Also included was a box of 100 'Light My Fire Adventures' sporks, pictured above.

This is clearly more sporks than I will ever need. So, rather than hoard them all to myself, Laura and I will be distributing them around the world to the people that we meet along the way.

Already, on our training trip, we were overwhelmed by the generosity of strangers - on one memorable occasion we knocked on a door to ask for some water and ended up spending the night in the spare room.

A spork is hardly thanks enough for this level of kindness but it's a good excuse to document the encounters and celebrate them. So, each time we meet someone knew who helps us on our way, we'll give them a spork, snap a photo and share their story with you.
