After crossing the Alps, we pedalled south towards Milan where a lovely lady called Vanessa had invited us to stay for a couple of nights. She let us stay in her apartment, have a shower and use the internet while she was at work. Just sitting on a sofa after several weeks on a bike saddle was bliss!
We failed to take a photo of Vanessa but here is a photo of Laura's bike outside the Milan Duomo.
